Terms of Personal Data Processing
This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Legal IT Group LLC (hereinafter referred to as the Company) when you visit a set of web pages accessed using the domain name (address) http://www.legalitgroup.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the Site).
Your Consent. You also hereby consent to processing your personal data and confirm that you have been informed of the procedure and purpose, as well as other conditions of their processing, in accordance with Art. 6, 8, 10, 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection".
By visiting the Site, you:
- accept our Privacy Policy,
- allow the Company to collect, use, and disclose information about you for the purposes specified below.
You hereby confirm that you have sufficient legal capacity and capacity under the laws of your country to consent to this Privacy Policy and to the processing of your personal data under the terms set out herein. If you do not have sufficient legal capacity, you hereby confirm that consent to these rules has been given by your parents or guardians who have full legal capacity and are authorized under the laws of your country of jurisdiction to give such consent.
Policy Change. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy whenever you access the Site to stay informed about our information practices and how you can help protect your privacy.
Definitions. If this Privacy Policy does not provide definitions of terms used in it, such terms have the meaning provided for in other documents governing our relations, such as

Visitor-provided Applications. In this section, you will find additional terms for processing personal data when submitting an application for a position in the Company or for participation in the educational initiatives of the Company (for instance, to take part in one of our online-courses or offline events).
- By sending us an application for participation in our educational programs (e.g. courses, business game or school), you additionally consent to the processing of data from the application: for example, your resume, test task and cover letter, your project, your role in such project, motivation letter (or other data that we ask you to provide in the application), to determine the possibility of your participation as a student in the specified program and your eligibility.
- When you pay for our educational services, we may also store additional payment information: typically, your full name, payment method (and information provided to us by your payment provider), payment amount, the service (or services) you are paying for, and the amount and reason for the discount.
- We will also request your personal data to add you to chats, messengers, or other communication channels so that you can complete educational program tasks and access educational program materials, communicate with classmates, and notify you about new tasks, next steps, progress, collaboration opportunities, and other educational programs or opportunities.
- If you successfully complete all requirements of the educational program, we will continue to store information about your certificate or other recognition of program completion: your full name, the program in which you participated, your passing grade, the results of the tasks, and (if assigned) the certificate number.
- By sending us your CV and cover letter in the "Career" section, you additionally consent to our processing of such documents for the purpose of conducting the selection process of candidates for the relevant open position.
- By filling in the relevant fields in Google Forms when registering for our on- or offline events (in particular, Events) (or by registering for on- or offline events in any other way provided by us), you provide us with information, including your email address, to send you materials (for example, presentations) as stated in the announcement of the relevant event. You agree that during our on- or offline events, we may take photos and/or video, as well as use these photos and/or video materials on our Site and pages on social networks.
I. Personal data. Terms
Data Controller: a natural or legal person who determines the purpose of processing personal data, establishes the scope of these data and the procedures for their processing, unless otherwise specified by law.
Data Subject’s Consent: any voluntary expression of will by an individual to grant permission for the processing of his or her personal data in accordance with the formulated purpose of their processing.
Processing of Personal Data: any action or set of actions performed in whole or in part in an information (automated) system and/or in filing systems, which are related to the collection, registration, accumulation, storage, adaptation, modification, renewal, use and dissemination (dissemination, sale, transfer), depersonalization, destruction of information about an individual.
Personal Data: information or a set of information about an individual who is identified or can be specifically identified.
Data Processor: a natural or legal person who is granted the right to process this data by the owner of the personal data base or by law.
Data Subject: a natural person in respect of whom, in accordance with the law, his or her personal data is processed.
II. Rights of Data Subjects
Personal Rights Regime. In Ukraine and the EU, personal (non-property) rights to personal data that each individual has are inalienable and inviolable.
Your Rights. The data subject has the right:
- to know about the sources of collection, location of his personal data, purpose of their processing, location or place of residence (stay) of the data controller and data processor of personal data or to authorise the obtaining of this information by the data subject’s agent or representative;
- to receive information about the conditions for providing access to personal data, in particular information about third parties to whom his personal data are transferred;
- to access their personal data;
- to receive no later than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the request, except for cases provided for by law, a response on whether his personal data are being processed, as well as to receive the content of such personal data;
- to submit a justified request to the data controller to object to the processing of their personal data;
- to submit a justified request to change or destroy their personal data by any data controller and data processor of personal data if these data are processed unlawfully or are inaccurate;
- to protect their personal data from unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, damage due to intentional concealment, failure to provide or untimely provision, as well as to protect against the provision of information that is inaccurate or defamatory of the honor, dignity and business reputation of an individual;
- to file complaints about the processing of their personal data with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or the court;
- to apply legal remedies in case of violation of the legislation on personal data protection;
- to make reservations regarding the restriction of the right to process their personal data when providing consent;
- to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
- to know the mechanism of automated processing of personal data;
- to be protected against automated decision-making that can entail legal consequences for them.
III. Data Collection
Collection Channel. Information (including personal data) is collected automatically through the Site. To read more about the cookies and pixels we use, please refer to the Cookies Policy.
Data Collected. When you access the Site, we automatically collect information about you, including:
- Log files: We record information about your use of the Site, including the type of device used, access time, and your IP address.
- Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Site, including information about the device’s software and hardware, etc.
- Usage Information: We collect information about your use of the Site, including your actions on the Site, if any.
- Interest Information: We collect information about the material you are interested in related to your use of the Site.
- Your Geolocations: We collect information about your geolocations.
Information We Collect from Other Sources. We may also receive information from other sources (e.g., from you directly via email) and combine it with information we collect through the Site.
IV. Use of Personal Data
Purposes. We may use information about you for various purposes, including:
- developing new sites and services;
- providing, maintaining, and improving the Site;
- providing and delivering products and services that you have requested;
- sending you relevant and/or requested information;
- sending you messages, including email or social media messages;
- sending you targeted, including promotional, content (material) of relevant content (including advertisements) provided by third parties or by us. However, we are not responsible for the content of third-party services or products;
- providing news and information about the Site and the Company's work that we believe may be of interest to you;
- personalising and improving the provision of services and providing a tailored approach to your request;
- providing links in combination with information we receive from others to help understand your needs and provide you with a better service;
- implementing any other purposes for which the information was collected that we inform you about.
Transfer Consent. By agreeing to our Privacy Policy or otherwise providing us with your data after receiving the information about the intended purpose of processing, you consent to the processing and transfer of your personal data, including to Ukraine.
V. Data Transfer and Sharing
Recipients. We may share information about you in the following ways (or otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy):
- with suppliers, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to perform work on our behalf;
- in response to a request for information, if we believe that disclosure is necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation or legal process (e.g., with an attorney or a law enforcement agency when they act in their professional capacity);
- if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or letter of our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of the Company, Company employees, or other third parties;
- in connection with, or in the course of negotiations for, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;
- with third parties who wish to provide relevant advertising content to you and have a legal relationship with us (we only provide de-identified/anonymised information in this case).
Anonymisation. We may also transfer aggregated information or deidentified/anonymised information that cannot be used to identify you to third parties at our discretion.
VI. Social Media Sharing
Likes and Shares. The Site may offer social sharing and other integrated tools (such as Facebook “Like” buttons) that allow you to share information from the Site. To read more about the cookies and pixels we use, please refer to the Cookies Policy.
Your Rights. For more information about the purposes and scope of data collection and processing in connection with the features of social sharing, please visit the privacy policies of the companies (i.e., social media providers) that provide these features.
VII. Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Third Parties
Analytics We Use. We may allow third parties to provide contextual and other advertising and provide analytics services related to the operation of the Site. These parties may use various identifiers to collect information about the use of the application, including your IP address, MAC address, device identifiers, software and hardware information, time zone and usage information, including the information set out in Part I of this Privacy Policy.
Purposes and Recipients. This information may be used by the Company and others, among other things, to determine the popularity of certain content, to provide contextual and other advertising, and to better understand your activity on the Site.
VIII. Securit
TOMs. The Company takes reasonable steps to protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including technical, organisational and other measures and controls.
IX. Communication
Main Channel. You may contact us with any questions regarding this Privacy Policy at any time by email at a@legalitgroup.com.
Push Notifications. With your consent, we may send Push Notifications or alerts when you are on the Site or to your email or mobile number that you provided when filling out the request form on the Site to provide information related to the Site, service updates, promotional messages and other relevant messages.
Site Forms. By filling out the request form on the Site, you automatically agree to receive informational or promotional mailings from the Company and/or its partners.
X. Information Retention
The Company will retain and use information for as long as necessary to provide quality services and for as long as such use is deemed appropriate by the Company.
